On The Easel - Paintings by Helen Clark
I paint a LOT! I paint wildlife paintings or pet portraits nearly every day and I work quite quickly. My medium is water based and so I'm not having to hang around waiting for paint to dry which is good because I'm an impatient kind of girl. If a painting takes too long I tend to get bored of it and don't finish. The canvas gets dumped into my canvas graveyard at the back of my studio and I may pick it up again a few months later and carry on if the mood takes me but more often than not I simply paint over it and start again
This is what's on my easel this week:
The holidays are over at last and its back to work with a vengeance. Lots of pet portraits and wildlife paintings coming up folks! "First Breath of Snow"
