I am surrounded by farmland where I live and there is such a diverse range of cows around me - no wonder I have so many cow photos! I'm very lucky to have such fantastic models to pose for me. I love a cow's long eyelashes and gorgeous sad brown eyes and I try hard to show this in my cow photos. Cows seem such gentle creatures but I wouldn't want to get into a field with some of these horned highlanders! The babies are adorable teddy bears and I've been very priviledged this year, to be present at the birth of several in the fields - within minutes they're up on their wobbly legs, shaking out their gorgeous shaggy fur - a fantastic cow photo in the making.
